what is hydrafacial?

For those unfamiliar, a HydraFacial is a high-end resurfacing treatment that has become the go-to skin care treatment for women and men alike.

Offering a detoxifying clean that leaves skin looking more hydrated than ever before, it has become widely popular because it provides fast results on almost all skin types.

With next to no downtime and irritation, it is perfect for those aiming for a quick and sure-fire method to enhance their skin complexion.

how does hydrafacial work?

A HydraFacial will see results by carefully removing dead skin cells as it cleanses and hydrates the skin. The treatment will also aim to break up any dirt and unwanted oil that clog up pores while simultaneously bathing the skin.

Plumping, moisturising and nourishing serums are then applied to the skin with healthy nutrients such as horse chestnut seed extract, hyaluronic acid, and magnesium peptides to leave the skin looking youthful and cleaner than ever before.

Any damage that the skin may suffer from pollution, sun, and stress will also be targeted and flushed out as the treatment works its magic.

what skin conditions can hydrafacial treat?

A regular HydraFacial isn’t just beneficial for maintaining healthy-looking skin, as it can also help treat a wide variety of skin problems:

  • Dry skin – Those who suffer from dry skin will feel rejuvenated with the hydrating feel that a HydraFacial can provide.

  • Dull skin - Tired skin can be turned into a glowing complexion with a simple hydrating and cleansing process

  • Acne – HydraFacial can combat mild acne as it is designed to help address the oil and dead skin cells that lead to breakouts

  • Pigmentation - Any visibility of skin pigmentation can be dramatically reduced.

the hydrafacial experience

Step 1 – Consultation

To ensure you're feeling confident with your treatment, we'll start your treatment by chatting through your skin concerns. This will be your opportunity to ask any questions that you have about the HydraFacial and we’ll tailor a treatment to suit your individual needs.

Step 2 – Your Treatment

HydraFacial uses advanced technology to deeply cleanse and fully detox the skin. A pen-like device will repeatedly circulate over your skin and vacuum out any patches of dead skins via an exfoliation method. A brightening agent is then applied to extract blackheads and further hydrate the skin.

Using a combination of hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, and peptides, the treatment will rejuvenate the skin, letting it look plumper and fresher. Finally, a LED light will be used to remove bacteria, stimulate collagen and reduce the chance of redness through irritation.

Step 3 - Aftercare

Once your HydraFacial treatment has concluded, it is recommended to wear SPF30 sun cream for the next 48 hours. Keep in mind that you'll also want to avoid saunas, intense cardio, and warm showers for the next 24 hours.

We also highly recommend that you avoid the application of makeup straight after treatment.
