Following Government Guidelines and recommendations by governing bodies in the beauty industry we would invite you to help us keep you and our staff safe by adhering to the following advice outlined.
From 24th September 2020, when you visit the salon, we will be providing you with a NHS Covid-19 QR code for you to scan and register your visit. Please download the NHS app in order to register.
We are doing all we can to protect our clients and staff while the coronavirus outbreak is still ongoing.
YOU MUST SELF-ISOLATE AND NOT COME IN FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT IF:
• You have any symptoms of coronavirus (COVID 19).
The main symptoms of coronavirus are:
- High temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not
need to measure your temperature).
- New, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or three or
more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than
- Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot
smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
Most people with coronavirus have at least one of these symptoms.
• You are waiting for the result of a test for coronavirus.
• You have tested positive for coronavirus.
• You live with someone who:
- Has symptoms of coronavirus (COVID 19).
- Is waiting for a coronavirus test result.
- Has tested positive for coronavirus.

Please visit the NHS website for detailed information about how long you need to self-isolate for.
Please arrive on time and unaccompanied with the exception of minors who will still need accompanying by a parent or guardian but please do call in advance should you be running late to make necessary arrangements.
Limit personal belongings.
You will be asked to remove any personal PPE e.g. gloves when entering the salon to avoid cross contamination and asked to sanitise at the front door or wash your hands. You are free to bring/wear your own mask during your visit should you desire.
A designated toilet will be open for use. More frequent cleaning intervals will be added to our already high standards of cleanliness.
We advise you to follow any markings in the reception area to ensure 1-2 metre distancing at all times, except when undergoing treatment,
No sitting or waiting before or after treatments is permitted. E.g. manicures and pedicures , appropriate sandals must be worn to allow you to freely walk out if the treatment isn’t Shellac. Sunrise can provide disposable flip flops should it be necessary
Different levels of treatment require different levels of PPE to be worn so the therapists PPE attire may vary and will vary to those on reception should you be alarmed at any indifference you see.

Pregnant women still need need a doctors/ midwife letter for any massage treatments
Please ask all Reception staff and therapists for help and advice on skincare as the Product house Elemis testers won’t be on display until further notice.

Reassurance of cleanliness of the salon and full protection of YOUR safety and the safety of our staff is at the forefront and will be demonstrated throughout your visit for peace of mind with practised Sanitization/sterilization taking place throughout you visit.
